TS Harrison was first established in 1898 and produced its first lathe in 1900.
Today the company employs personnel in the design, manufacture, sales and after sales of a comprehensive range of lathes - the Alpha Plus 'S' series of manual/CNC lathes, Alpha 'T' series of electronic lathes and the 'M' series of geared head centre lathes. The company has a worldwide distributor network.
The Alpha series of lathes offer four modes of operation:
- Manual - providing accuracy and repeatability to dramatically reduce set up times for one off production.
- Semi-Automatic - sequential operation for electronic stops, tapers and threading is perfect solution for one off and small batch production.
- Autocycle - the Alpha Link CAD/CAM program with automatic cycles dramatically enhances productivity in small to medium batch production.
- Full ISO Programming - a separate interlocked ISO keypad has been included (on the Alpha Plus 'S' only) on the machine central console in addition to the existing Alpha keypad.
